How to Fit Driving Lights in the INEOS Grenadier Grille (No Cutting)

The Grenadier's factory auxiliary lights sit in two round buckets in the grille. Our mount kits let you swap them for proper driving lights, using the same holes, with no cutting. This guide covers both kits: the Vision X CR-7 mount kit and the Exzeit mount kit.

The kit was designed and tested by members in the Rat Works, the community design hub on theINEOSforum. Read how it was developed.

What's in the kit

  • 2x mount brackets (identical, black powder-coated)
  • 8x M8 button-head screws (stainless)
  • 8x M8 serrated flange nuts
  • 8x locating spacers

Lights are sold separately. Vision X CR-7 lights are available here.

Tools you'll need

  • Torx drivers: T25, T30 and T40
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Plastic trim removal tool
  • Allen key and socket to suit the light maker's mounting hardware

The job in outline

  1. Fit the brackets to the lights. M8 screws go through each bracket from the front, spacers finger-tight on the back. Bolt each light to its bracket with the light maker's hardware so the lens sits parallel to the bracket.
  2. Loosen the grille and tilt it forward. Remove the round bezels and the stock lights. There are over 30 fasteners and some differ only in length, so bag and label them.
  3. Remove the rubber grommets that located the stock lights. You won't need them again.
  4. Run your wiring to just behind the light buckets, to suit your switching set-up.
  5. Fit each light and bracket. The spacers locate in the four grommet holes. Check every spacer is fully seated, then fit and tighten the flange nuts from behind the grille.
  6. Connect and test the lights before you close anything up. Keep wiring clear of sharp edges and the radiator.
  7. Refit the bezels and the grille with the original hardware.

Tip: on some lights the factory bezel won't pass over the light once it's in the grille. If so, fit the bezel between the light and the bracket before you bolt them together. Bezels are left and right handed.
